Acquisition Consulting and Due Diligence

The success of business acquisition consulting often depends on the quality on the due diligence performed and of the valuation of the entity under the new ownership. This requires an understanding of accounting, finance and the valuation process. In order to determine the value to the new owner, and thus the acceptable price to pay, will often require review of the entity's historical accounting records and preparation of pro forma financial projections of the acquired entity operating as planned by the new owner. In addition, the assets being acquired, both tangible and intangible, will have to be reviewed and valued.
