HSSK was formed in 2001 through the merger of the practices of Schwartz, Spilker & Company and Hill Valuation Group. Today the Firm has offices in Austin, Dallas and Houston, Texas. Its clients are located throughout the United States and Europe and include Fortune 100 companies, high net worth families and individuals, commercial litigators and estate and family lawyers.

Unlike many of its larger competitors, HSSK’s principals believe that their clients hire them and should be served by them; accordingly we do not have a pool of junior staff waiting to be assigned to a client' matters. Our principals are actively working on our clients’ matters. The typical HSSK professional has over twenty years of business/industry experience. They are ASAs, CPAs, CFAs, CFEs, EnCEs, JDs, P.E.s and PhDs with considerable financial and accounting acumen. Many of HSSK’s professionals are recognized leaders in their professions.
